Who is responsible
PushMeGo is an independently run, unregistered project. The person running PushMeGo is responsible for how this platform uses personal information. Contact tc98onmazir@gmail.com about this policy or your data.
What we collect
- Account information: your display name, email address, account ID, and sign-in provider. You can register with email and password or use Google sign-in. Firebase Authentication handles passwords; we don’t store them in the project database.
- What you publish: project details, screenshots and logos, website and social links, release notes, feedback requests, and comments. A launch country or region is optional.
- Your activity: votes, notification records, read status, and timestamps. We keep action timestamps to limit repeated requests.
- Messages you send us: your email address and the information you include in support, privacy, or moderation requests.
- Technical information: our hosting and infrastructure providers may process request logs, IP addresses, browser details, and error information to deliver and protect the service.
What other people can see
Project pages, the maker’s display name, comments, release notes, and vote totals are public. A selected country or region is public and may be shown on the globe. We don’t ask for an exact address to place a pin.
When you interact with a project, its owner may receive a notification showing your display name and the action you took. Account email addresses and sign-in details are not included in public project listings.
Public pages can be indexed or quoted by search engines and AI search services. Removing content from PushMeGo does not immediately remove copies or cached results held by those services.
Why we use it
We use account details to sign you in and check ownership; project content to publish listings; votes and comments to support discovery and discussion; and activity records to send in-app notifications and limit abuse. We use messages you send us to handle your request.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, these uses relate to providing the service you request, protecting the platform and its users, meeting legal obligations, or acting on your choice to provide optional information.
Services that process information
Google Firebase provides authentication and database storage. Vercel Blob stores uploaded project images. Hosting and infrastructure services deliver the site and may process operational logs. These providers may process data outside your country. Their involvement does not make project content private.
We may disclose information when required by law, to address misuse or security incidents, or to protect people’s rights. The current platform does not use advertising trackers or sell a user-data feed.
Cookies and browser storage
Sign-in uses browser storage managed by Firebase. We also save checklist progress and a timestamp that refreshes the map after a launch changes. Vercel Web Analytics measures page visits, referrers, approximate location, and browser and device information in aggregate. It does not use cookies to track visitors. We do not send account details or custom events to analytics. See Cookies & storage for details.
How long information stays
We keep account and activity information while it is needed to run your account and the platform. Public project content stays until it is deleted or removed. Limited records may be retained where needed for security, unresolved disputes, or legal obligations. Backups and provider logs may remain for their normal retention periods.
You can edit or delete your own projects and delete your own comments. For account deletion or other data requests, email us. We don’t currently offer an automatic account-deletion button.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and raise an objection to how it is used. Other rights may apply where you live, such as restricting processing or receiving a copy of information you provided. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Email tc98onmazir@gmail.com. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you may contact the data protection authority that applies to you. In Morocco, that is the CNDP.
Children and sensitive information
Please don’t put identity documents, health records, payment details, or other sensitive personal information in public submissions. If you believe a child has supplied personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review it.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update the date on this page when the policy changes. If a change materially affects how we use account information, we’ll provide a notice on the site or another suitable channel.
